    Watch, fix, and coverage targeting

    This source milestone added working watch, fix, and ci command paths. Generation can use an existing Istanbul coverage report to select files below a statement threshold; it also reads project test conventions and tracks source dependencies. Ollama remains the local default, with optional configured cloud model providers.

    Generated files need review. Normal generation, watch, and fix can replace existing sibling tests. At this milestone, ci --coverage could pass when the coverage report was missing, so that result did not prove improved coverage. The October 5 CLI release now fails explicitly for missing or malformed Istanbul reports; see the current product overview for installation instructions.

    The older paired light/dark landing stills showed marketing claims, a waitlist, and sample passing-test/coverage numbers, not recorded CLI output. They are withdrawn from this entry.

    CLI behavior recorded · 2026-09-25

    The paired transcript cards below render actual Specwatch CLI output from a disposable TypeScript fixture, with local file paths shortened. A deterministic loopback Responses-API stub supplied the model response: this was not Ollama or a real model. The cards are designed evidence renders, not raw terminal screenshots or a contemporaneous capture of the June milestone.

    gen --dry-run --no-validate exited successfully and left an existing hand-written test byte-identical. Normal gen --no-validate then replaced that test; validation was skipped, so the run does not establish test quality. A watched source edit triggered regeneration. Separately, ci --coverage exited successfully with no coverage report, recording the missing-report behavior of that September version rather than proving a coverage improvement.

    Specwatch entered the umbrella: the runnable app and the landing were vendored in, and the source tree was renamed from aylith-apps to aylith-labs.
