shefros proposes an Arch-based distribution where the desktop session is shefrd: every Super key would be a shefrd action, and a pane could hold a terminal, browser, or game.
The current implementation is a window-pinning and visibility prototype tested under nested sway on WSLg. It is not an installable distribution or a verified desktop session. There is no public onboarding or release path yet.
The argument is one level up from shefrd's own: shefrd dissolved the ceilings that came from being a guest inside someone else's terminal. The ones that remain come from being a guest inside someone else's desktop.
