Return to the exact capture
An exact capture reference now leads back to the corresponding point in a Dashcam session. The selected capture remains visible when its URL is reloaded, and a missing or cross-session reference gets an explicit unavailable state. Closing the preview returns to the session without leaving a stale selection.

A capture reference selects a visible point in the session. This is an isolated synthetic session, captured from the implemented Dashcam UI. Watch the return path
The light and dark films show the same implemented flow with on-screen annotations. Choose the version that matches your reading theme and press play; the films are paused by default so narration remains available. Both include English captions and an embedded subtitle track.

A reference that is missing or belongs to another session stays unavailable. The films use Cartesia Sonic 3.6 narration (Clive — Measured Expert), Remotion animation, and editorial caption timing. The shown session is a synthetic fixture, not a customer recording. Screenshots come from the product UI in both themes; the illustrations and annotations explain the release behavior. Capture recording remains conditional on a configured Playwright browser, and general video recording is still deferred.

Capture pipeline and rollups
The recorder records now. The capture pipeline is wired end-to-end, with real import and worktree hook endpoints, plus cost rollups and
doctor/uninstallfixes. A hook-body race that dropped payloads was fixed, and the package was renamed to dashcam (consolidated from dashcam-team).
