    Design systems, inference, and guardrails

This June source milestone added a design-system list and picker, a freeform model route and image-URL path, and optional model-assisted prop inference for constrained generation. Scanned systems and projects can be stored in a JSON-backed file store. A component linter can flag generated component names that are absent from the supplied library. The work also updated model-provider configuration and source tooling.

Matching still uses keyword scoring. Generated code, suggested props, accessibility checks, and tests need validation in the target project. This milestone does not establish first-pass PR acceptance, provider parity, or production readiness.

The previous light/dark home stills are withdrawn from this entry because their visible “production-ready code” promise exceeds that evidence. A separate, dated study of the actual Svelte/Vue scanner appears below; it is not June milestone footage or a replacement film.

    Current source-run scanner study · September 25, 2026

These paired light/dark captures come from the actual locally run Compokit API and web app with isolated synthetic Svelte and Vue component libraries. They show a later source state, not the June milestone. The API readback found one component and two CSS tokens in each disposable library. The app’s form and result views were captured through its local design-system workflow. No public scanner account, hosted generation service, model-quality result, or production target project is demonstrated.

The public Compokit source overview is a static explanation of scan → keyword match → reviewable generation, not a hosted product app or an installation route.

Actual local Compokit design-system form prepared for a fictional Svelte source scan
The local scanner form, captured in the app's own light and dark themes with disposable Svelte/Vue source directories.
Actual local Compokit result cards showing fictional Svelte and Vue libraries with one component and two tokens each
The API and UI reported one component and two CSS tokens per synthetic library. This is a scanner result, not validated generated code.
Diagnostic Compokit poster study using actual local result screenshots, prominently labeled synthetic local scan
A paired diagnostic poster study built around the observed scanner result. It is not the final release cover or a narrated film.
Labeled thumbnail from the silent fictional local Compokit scanner study, with synthetic and no-model qualifiers
A labeled frame from the paired silent studies; open either video below to watch the actual local UI.

The paired 6.20-second silent local scanner studies can be opened directly: light theme video and dark theme video. They are trimmed actual app interactions with persistent SYNTHETIC LOCAL and NO MODEL RUN labels, not a hosted scan or final narrated release film.

The synthetic fixture, captured pixels, API receipt and poster source are recorded in the media manifest. The videos show observed form-to-result UI, not generated code or a model-quality result. The source recordings and trim/timing provenance are preserved; the raw dark tail had a visual defect, so the matched public edits stop before it. Licensed Cartesia narration, final Remotion films, timed captions, release annotations and an approved final cover remain open.
