Changelog

Dated studio notes are distinct from package releases and current setup requirements.

    Authoring, media, and dynamic blocks

This source milestone expanded Brainstash’s local authoring workflow.

    • Media library — a page for uploaded media, with working upload.
    • Dynamic content blocks — a live dynamic-block authoring UI plus settings.
    • Server-side Markdown rendering — HTML is sanitized before it is stored and displayed.
    • Stats & profile endpoints.

The frontend moved to cookie-based authentication. Query parameters and media upload were repaired, and the public-facing suite name changed to Aylith.

The earlier paired entry and category stills were withdrawn from this entry. Their example data, dates and view counters have no documented release fixture; one category still even reads “0 categories total” above four visible rows. They cannot establish the current product state. Fresh matched light/dark captures and narrated films of a verified local workflow remain release work.

    Current source-run study · September 25, 2026

These newer paired captures are from the actual locally run Brainstash app, using a disposable SQLite database and a fictional account. They show a later source state, not footage from the June milestone. A fictional reference was saved, edited, found by a title/content search for parser, and opened on its History page. The saved note’s source uses a reserved .example.test address. No private note, uploaded media, hosted account or production database appears.

The public Brainstash source overview explains this workflow and its setup boundary. It is a static page, not a hosted knowledge base or sign-in service.

Actual local Brainstash entry with a fictional cache note, a reserved example.test source and edited content
A fictional saved reference in the local app, after its content was edited. This is product UI, not the illustrated public landing card.
Actual local Brainstash title and content search returning one parser match in the fictional note
The `parser` query returned one highlighted match from the edited fictional note. This does not demonstrate complete filtered pagination.
Actual local Brainstash History page listing Version 1 for the fictional entry, with its snapshot collapsed
The History page lists Version 1. Its snapshot is collapsed here; this capture does not prove the prior content or a completed restore.
Silent source-run browser recordings of the fictional local workflow. The dark clip's blank startup was trimmed; durations differ. These are raw studies, not synchronized narrated release films.

Uploaded media is currently served by ID without authentication, so these captures do not establish private-media handling. Search filters apply after FTS pagination, and restoring an entry was not exercised in this study. Licensed Cartesia narration, paired Remotion films, timed captions, release annotations and an exceptional approved poster remain open.

    Foundation

The full Brainstash application: entries with categories, tags, and versioning; full-text search; OAuth + session auth; a CLI; and a Bun + SvelteKit + Drizzle/LibSQL monorepo. The toolchain migrated to tsgo and dependencies were upgraded to latest.
