Requirements
- Node 20 or newer and the public package archive linked from the homepage
- Installed official Codex CLI with an existing sign-in for Codex reads
- A caller-supplied Anthropic credential for Anthropic usage reads
Things to know
- Repository source access is separate from the public package archive
- Anthropic usage reads require a caller-supplied credential and respect polling limits
- Independent CLI processes do not share a polling budget; no reset redemption or hosted quota service is supplied
Quota readings with explicit limits
Agent Quota provides typed Anthropic subscription readings that distinguish a reported quota, an unknown value and a local calculation. Callers supply their own credential. Per-account polling budgets and single-flight coordination reduce duplicate and overly frequent usage requests.
A fresh reading on your machine
Install the public npm-compatible archive and run agent-quota codex to read the official installed app-server quota windows, reset times and available reset balance. Codex keeps its existing sign-in; this read does not start inference, export credentials or redeem a reset. Fetch time accompanies each result, and missing windows remain unknown.
